Outdoor Adventure

Northern Colorado is home two state parks – Lory State Park and Boyd Lake State Park. Reservoir access at both parks invite visitors to take the plunge for swimming, stand-up paddle boarding and boating. The region is home to Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the nation’s most beautiful and accessible national parks. In the park you can enjoy grand vistas from the comfort of your car or conquer one of the state’s famous Fourteeners. Communities are conveniently connected with 330 miles of trails to hike, bike and horseback ride. In winter, wax your skis for a short drive to hit the slopes at Eldora Mountain or one of the other world-class ski resorts along the I-70 corridor.
