Fall Weather: When Fort Collins Makes Living Easy

October 14, 2021

Fort Collins has long been recognized as a top place to live. But you may not realize just how easy it is to take advantage of all there is to do and see — even if you only have a couple of hours of daylight after work.

October weather in Northern Colorado offers almost daily opportunities to soak up some sun.  Check out this article from Visit Fort Collins to learn more about why you should make the trip to Fort Collins during the fall.

A few other ideas on how you can take advantage of the beautiful fall weather in Fort Collins include:

  • Checking out the changing leaves on our many trails while biking, jogging or walking.
  • City-owned golf courses are open year-round as weather allows, so check-out the driving range at Collindale, or end your day by late afternoon and get in a round at City Park Nine. Southridge is even a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
  • Unwind at one of the dozens of restaurant or brewery patios.
  • Before heading home for the evening, take a sunset drive — or watch the moon rise — at Horsetooth Reservoir.

Whatever you choose, get out and enjoy our oh-so-desirable place to live!
